Earlier this year, Infiniti showed off a prototype of a special edition version of the Infinti FX50, which was created using feedback from Red Bull championship driver, Sebastian Vettel. Known as the FX Sebastian Vettel Edition, the vehicle wowed critics and drivers alike who seemed to have only one thing to say: When is it going into production?

Unfortunately, the answer appeared to be never, as Infiniti made it clear that the FX Sebastian Vettel Edition was a one-of-a-kind creation, meant to be exclusive to Sebastian Vettel himself. This, however, didn't stop Infiniti enthusiasts around the world from demanding that the awe-inspiring special edition be put into production.

As it turns out, Infiniti can't drown out the deafening demand created by its fans so easily either, as the luxury automaker has recently opted to finally bring the FX Sebastian Vettel Edition into production. Unfortunately, however, Infiniti has decided to keep it a European-exclusive, citing lack of interest in Sebastian Vettel and Formula One as a whole for not bringing it overseas.

This seems a bit odd to everyone here at 160 S Pickett Street Alexandria, VA 22304, since we really don't think you need to be a Formula One fan to enjoy the vehicle's 5.0-liter V8 engine, which has been tweaked to shell out an extra 32-hp for a total of 414 horsepower.

Still, we can only hope that the brilliant minds at Infiniti opt to change their minds and bring the Sebastian Vettel Edition FX50 to the United States.
