Infiniti Looks Ahead to Geneva Motor Show for Big Reveal

Now that the 2012 North American International Auto Show has wrapped up, we here at Passport Infiniti of Alexandria are looking forward to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The event is held every March, and our favorite luxury automaker, Infiniti always plans something big for the show.

So what's Infiniti planning this year? While they haven't given it a name, the company has made it clear that they plan to unveil a new 'range-extended electric sports car' at the show. Thus far, the company has only elected to reveal a sketch of the lineup's latest vehicle to the press, and from what we've seen, it's clear that they're paying close attention to their performance-driven roots.

This means that the new Infiniti range-extended electric sports car features the same curvy lines that define vehicles like the Infiniti G37 Convertible, Infiniti FX35, and QX56. What's more, the company is also stating that the performance and comfort found in these vehicles won't be lost on the new EV concept ether. Rather, the company will focus every bit as much on making the vehicle live up to the Infiniti name as it will in packing it with as much fuel-saving tech as possible. And given the recent advancements that have been made in Infiniti parts and performance, we don't think the Japanese automaker will have any trouble doing this at all.

Of course, we realize that many of you out there are simply more interested in what Infiniti has to offer in a more immediate sense.
