The immediate future looks to be dynamic and exciting for Infiniti. Why? Well, aside from the fact that several innovative new Infiniti luxury vehicles are in the works for 2013, the automaker has recently announced a change in leadership.
Company officials are enthused to share that Johan de Nysschen will be joining the team. Thanks to nearly 19 years in the luxury auto industry, Nysschen is perfectly qualified to lead the Infiniti brand as the new Senior Vice President of the automaker's parent brand.
Andy Palmer, current Nissan Executive Vice President, proudly exclaims, "We have exciting and ambitious plans for improving the Infiniti brand...Johan is a highly successful global luxury automotive executive, and his leadership of Infiniti will be a key factor in realizing the potential of the Infiniti brand."1
Speaking of the automaker's plans, the world can expect a great deal from Infiniti over the next few years. With a relocation of headquarters to Hong Kong, the automaker is set to increase its global sales significantly; especially within the Chinese market. Specifically, Nysschen moves ahead with the target of 100,000 new Infiniti vehicle sales in China by 2016 in mind.
As you can tell, Infiniti isn't merely resting on its haunches. The dynamic luxury automaker is progressing forward full-force.
