Safety
The Preview Braking system is designed to anticipate your need to brake. When the available Intelligent Cruise Control laser sensors detect a rapidly closing distance to a vehicle ahead, it pre-pressurizes the brakes in anticipation of the brakes being applied. The system also responds the same way when it senses that you've suddenly lifted off the gas pedal.
