With the same-sized 3.5L V6 engine in both the INFINITI QX60 and the Nissan Pathfinder, you’d expect to see the same power output as well. However, that’s far from the truth.

The Pathfinder maxes out at 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. While on its own this is quite an impressive feat, in comparison to the 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque with the QX60, this output is quite lackluster.

In the INFINITI QX60, the air circulates through the Tri-Zone Automatic Temperature Control system. This system, which is similar to the tri-zone automatic temperature control system of the Pathfinder, provides adjustable temperature controls to all three rows.

Where these systems differ is the added available Advanced Climate Control System with Plasmacluster™ Air Purifier and Polyphenol Filter. This advanced air purifier removes allergens from the air. It also helps keep the cabin smelling fresh by blocking the inflow of external air when unpleasant odors are detected. Similarly, if odors are detected inside the cabin, the system works to flush them out quickly.

The Pathfinder comes with an in-cabin microfilter, but it doesn’t possess the same capabilities of the advanced system of the QX60.
